The BMC FUNdamentals of Climbing 1 workshop looks at the basis of all climbing and climbing coaching. This one day workshop - a requirement of the Foundation Coach Award - looks at attributes such as Warm Ups, Footwork and Handholds, among various other aspects.

These are syllabus led courses, fully recognised nationwide and are very well received. They are effective both for personal climbing and as coach education
