What will you do next?

Bath is best known for its Georgian Architecture, Hot Springs and Jane Austin.  But it should also be known as one of the best Outdoor destinations in the UK.  Situated at the southernmost point of the Cotswolds, it has stunning rolling hills, the river Avon and the Kennet and Avon Canal.  It also has several Caves in the surrounding hills and is the official start of the Cotswold way.

Walking 

So many wonderful routes start from the centre of Bath or from locations easily accessible on the Bus or Train.  You can even take the Train to Bradford on Avon and walk the Canal home (via some fantastic pubs!).

The River Avon is a perfect spot to paddleboard.  Sections of the river are closed to most motor traffic due to the location of the weirs, making it a very peaceful activity. Otters, Beavers and many King Fishers live on the River and often make an appearance
