Hi, I'm a fully qualified INWA British Nordic Walking Instructor based in the beautiful city of Bath. I'm passionate about the positive benefits of exercising outdoors and feel that Nordic Walking is the perfect sport for this. The physical benefits are huge too with around 30% of the effort taken into your upper body, making it a full body workout. I teach the well respected INWA BNW 10 step technique that enables people new to the sport to learn in a logical and clear manner, breaking down each part into easy to understand sections. Once mastered I offer a choice of walks varying from gentle and relatively flat to hilly and more challenging. I will be entirely guided by you and what you hope to get from each session.

But there is far more to Nordic Walking than this, it is a wonderfully sociable activity that brings likeminded people together and builds lasting friendships. It is also perfect for people recovering from injury or surgery as walking with poles gives that added benefit of support and balance. I also teach people suffering from Parkinson's disease and help them gain a bit more confidence to get out and about.
