About Des Mahon

I am starting out in the freelance world having been a Scout Leader for over six years educating many young people in skills for life and a regular ambassador for the National Outdoor Expo. I am currently going back to my roots and completing a degree in Outdoor and Adventure Education giving me the background and insight into why we enjoy the outdoor and the risk and knowledge we need to educate.

With my background in education I hold a great understanding of the need for young people and adults to be allowed the opportunities to explore learning outside the classroom.
